Crazy About Gadgets is an online shop for gadgets. It is quite a competitive business to be in and Crazy About Gadgets manages to keep up with the cutting edge of technology and you can find as many gadgets on here as you could on any other popular gadget website. I came into this project at a late stage to help out with some database problems that were troubling the owner. I've since being adding little functions here and there at the request of the owner. Some examples are a live up to date currency conversions, availability options, delivery options, emailable product pages and sub categories on items.   Training Monitor is the sister company of my full time employment in Monitor Risk Management. Training Monitor is a professional training provider that specialises in all aspects of industry and commerce, delivering to its client's door high quality fire, health and safety training that is suitable for both small to medium enterprises and large professional multi site organisations. Due to the fact that I am not a Training Monitor employee this website work was to be commissioned outside the office and a small team was chosen to do the project. Again I am mainly responsible for the database structure, including a large training management system for clients and an elearning package.   Low Cost Windows are a company providing PVCu replacement windows and doors directly to home or business at a (you guessed it) low cost. The reason they can offer such a competitive service is that they do not offer fitting they are solely supplying the windows and doors. I was brought in to this project to provide them with an online payment system as previously customers were asked to contact them once a quote had been provided. I have integrated the payment system with the quote system already in place as the quote system was identical to cart system.   Art of Heather is a gallery website written for the American artist Heather Goodwin. Heather specialises in Fantasy Art, Landscape Impressionism and Portraits on a variety of media types. I have written the majority of the database backbone for this site, Heather is able to customize a majority of the site including, introduction, biography, upcoming events and related links. Also Heather adds her own prints to the website and specifies its properties e.g size and price. I have also designed and created the cart system that is currently in place on the site.   Loopy Lou's Spelling Test was a project that my partner did for her teaching degree. She needed to create a learning resource for a specified target group. I only supervised on this project, helping her to put her ideas onto the web. My main use was helping her with the randomiser for the words from an Access database she wanted to use.
